#30DaysOfBiking, Day 28 = #SPEZI24, Day 2: Rode my KMX recumbent trike to #SPEZI (2x 4km) and rode each of the following bikes at least once through the 750m test course: A

"Big Brompty", a black Brompton with enlarged frame, forh and chainstay to accommodate very narrow 24" road wheels.

Was for sale from private.
"Sofie" a red, front wheel driven short wheelbase recumbent with an aerodynamic wooden box in the back which also provides the seat. It has lettering on the box that says "Sofie made by holzwurm 2024".

Last week I bought myself an Adafruit CO2 sensor and wired it up to a spare Raspberry Pi which is running in my "home office" (oh OK then, the spare bedroom).
It's astonishing how quickly CO2 builds up when I shut the door because I'm on a Zoom call.
So protip if you work at home: if you find yourself feeling sleepy, or getting headaches, it may simply be that the carbon dioxide has built up in the room you're sitting in. Try opening a window, even for 5 minutes, to see if it helps.

Assassin's Creed III: completed!
To be honest, the feeling of being overwhelmed by choice never really left me, and I spent many hours wandering around the American countryside chasing nothing in particular. After the initial twist in the story, and the urgency created by the village being burnt to the ground, there was no real impetus to hurry through the game - not helped by the fact that your main enemy keeps on cropping up and you keep on having to watch cutscenes…

CO₂ monitoring, useful explainer
Here's my own explainer about CO₂ monitoring.
It covers some of the same topics as the one above, but filling in more background knowledge. When I wrote it, I was thinking of e.g. a teacher with lots of knowledge about children and not much knowledge about science, who just wanted to make their classroom safer from covid.
